When it comes to fat artists on Deviantart, there are some who are godly at it, like SolitaryScribbles for instance (see the review of him in this link: Art Review #1 - SolitaryScribbles if you want to know what I think of him), and this artist is no different. He's around since 2005, as far as I know, and he's the reason why I'm into blobs. This artist is :iconsaxxon:

His artworks consist of 2 types of drawings: muscle growth and weight gain. I'm not a big muscle fan by any means, so I'm not going to talk much about them, but they're great, art-wise. The weight gain art is where I like him the most. His distribution of fat is mostly focused on the belly; the good stuff, and his blobs are amazing.

The art style of Saxxon's reminds me of early Disney animated movies and anime from the 1990's, which has a charm to them that I like. It hasn't really been seen before back then. Most of the wg artists go for a cutesy modern western animation look, a modern anime style, or realistic as possible. I like the two former, but not the latter one tbh. Extreme realism isn't my thing.

Saxxon's anatomy design is really good, from normal sized people to blobs of lard. He seems to be a professional at drawing people correctly without too much detail so it loses appeal. You don't want to go too realistic, as it might get uncanny (in my honest opinion. For the sake of not sounding like a jerk, don't take my advice about not making character designs realistic if you're a realistic artist or likes to draw realistically. You can do what you want, I'm just saying my opinion).

One thing that's interesting about Saxxon is that he writes a lot in his pictures. Dialogues between characters seems to be verbose and there are big stories that come along in these pictures he does. He's mixing for a wg writer and artist, it seems. It clashes well, because the size of the text doesn't obstruct the fat goodness, even though that there's a lot of it.

Unlike the previous artist I talked about, Saxxon draws mostly black and white pictures, sometimes minimal coloring, and rarely, gets another person to color the pic (the person works alongside him). Not bad really, considering how much commissions he does. Coloring a piece takes some time for some people, and they want to get their art out there as quick as they can, but not too quick so it looks sloppy.

Overall, Saxxon is one of the greatest artists I've ever seen, and I wish to commission him someday. He's somebody I also aspire to be like, art-wise. I hope he gets to see this critique (like how SolitaryScribbles did), and knows that somebody's vocal about his support a lot to make this journal. If he doesn't see it, I understand. He must be really busy with commission work, or doesn't have the time. Still though, I love this guy's art. Check him out, and maybe commission him.

So... I've decided to do reviews of artists on DA that I see in the community that I'm in, alongside artworks. I'm a talkative guy, to be honest, and I'd like to speak on my opinions of artists that I know of, and critique their crafts. I know that I may get bashed by some people that don't like the kinks I have, but hey, what are you gonna do?

The first artist that's on my plate is one that I've seen years ago on DA. His name is :iconsolitaryscribbles: (previously known as Hippinite). I've seen his artworks when he was known as Hippinite, interestingly enough. I think his works are what caused me to like cartoony-styled fats, to be frank. Saying that his art's awesome is an understatement. It's god-tier levels of fatty artwork, and he's one of my main inspirations for my art style.

I'm going to go over the reasons why I love his art, and why he's one of my idols. The first reason why is because of the detail he puts into his fats. The shading is very awesome, and bends realism with cartoony elements in it with the mixture of natural colors of skin. It's savoring, and shows how much he does his craft very well.

The next reason why I like his art is due to the anatomy. His ways of drawing fat are very spot on in appeal, and make it so that the women he draws don't look like circular and extremely unrealistic. On the other side, he doesn't make them too realistic to the point of which is unappealing, which is great. The proportionate ratios of the bodies he draws are fitting towards fat-shapes, and the rolls of fat compliment each other on each part of the body.

Another great thing about his art is his style, which is very cute and bubbly. The style of art of his kind is one of my favorite styles, in terms of character designs. It's simple, sweet, and is something which makes me go "D'awwwwwww!". Cuteness is what I like in BBW drawings, and Scribbs takes that likeness and uses it to his advantage.

One interesting tidbit is that it's noticeable that his style had change over the years. The earliest art I saw of his was mostly simple designs with dot-shaped eyes, kinda like Adventure Time. Later on, he progressively puts more detail and adds more to his designs, which makes it look professional.

Recently, he's doing animations, and I gotta say, wow. This is some of the best content I ever seen. The motions of his are swift and smooth, and compliment his style of art. I wonder if he's going to do a whole series of weight-gain related shenanigans of his OCs (he's doing a comic of them).

In short, this guy's one of my idols in art, and is one of my main inspirations of weight gain art. I hope we see more of his awesome works soon, and that he grows more in popularity.

Hello everyone! Today, I will tell you all who are my favorite artists are, and what I like about them. Without further to do, let's get on with my favorites, in no particular order.

Artist # 1: Saxxon

Artist's profile: :iconsaxxon:

Ah yes, one of the most well-known BBW artists on DA. This guy has lots of super fat women that are drawn in a style similar to that of works by Disney. Blobs are one of the best sizes in fictional drawings, in my honest opinion. I do like all sizes though, and I love his works. He mostly does commissions, and I'd wish to comm him.

Artist # 2: SolitaryScribbles

Artist's profile: :iconsolitaryscribbles:

His cartoony style is what makes me love his art. I also think he's a very nice man. We talked by notes, and he's so kind. I drew fanart of his OCs. His commissions are somewhat expensive, but it'll be worth it when I get the money.

Artist # 3: SuperSpoe

Artist's profile : :iconsuperspoe:

I think I first heard of him from DeviantCringe (the guy who bashes on fetish art. I see these types of videos not because of their critiques, but what artists they critique. Seriously, most anti-fetish ranters are normies). I gotta say, SuperSpoe's art style is so cute. He reminds me of SolitaryScribbles.

Artist #4: AkJonson

Artist's profile: :iconakjonson:

You'll notice a trend with artists I like. They mostly draw cartoony women, which is my favorite style. This guy is no different. He makes very good art. He doesn't upload as much as some artists, but he has a life. He can do what he wants.

Artist #5: Robot001

Artist's profile: :iconrobot001:

Robot001's reception is mixed around the fetish community, from what I've seen. Some people like his art, some may hate it. I'm in the former. His art style is a mixture between cartoon and anime, which is executed excellently. It somewhat reminds me of Garfield (in the art style department), somehow.

Artist #6: Dewsh-Lawnde

Artist's profile: :iconbakteriophayge:

This guy is a funny dude. He's humorous while making good BBW art. He also has different kinks that I'm not into, but that's okay. His art's so cute, I just want to hug his fat ladies.

Artist #7: Mizz-Britt

Artist's profile: :iconmizz-britt:

This BBW artist is a female, which is a rare thing to see here. Her artstyle is anime-esque, and she does Saxxon-sized fats. What's there not to love?

Artist #8: Zircon-Phantom

Artist's profile: :icondarkdragon5151:

I gotta say, for an artist who's a newcomer (like me), he's good at art. Hyperblobs are one of my favorite sizes, and he loves them too. We talk a lot to each other, and we're friends.

There may be more artists I do like, but I forgot to put here.
